Jeff Wignall (Stratford, CT) is a photographer and writer and the author of numerous books on photography including, The Joy of Digital Photography (Lark Books, 2006), The Kodak Guide to Shooting Great Travel Pictures (Fodors Travel Publications, 2003), Kodak's Most Basic Book of 35mm Photography (Silver Pixel Press) and Winning Pictures (Silver Pixel Press). His newest book, The Kodak Most Basic Book of Digital Photography was released in March (Lark Books, 2006). Jeff has been writing about photography for more than 30 years and is a former "Camera" columnist for the Sunday New York Times and is the former Technical Editor for Photo District News.

For the past year he has been teaching a four-week class "The Joy of Digital Photography" on Bryan Peterson's Perfect Picture School of Photography online school. He is a frequent contributor to a number of photo magazines including: American Photo, Outdoor Photographer, PC Photo Digital, Digitalis Foto, and BottomLine/Tomorrow. His photos appear regularly in books, magazines and advertisements.
