About James Stearns:
I was born in Murphysboro, IL, a small town in Southern Illinois about 90 miles south of St. Louis, MO and 8 miles from the Mississippi River. Joined the U.S. Navy and spent 23 years traveling around the world. Served on several aircraft carriers, in various squadrons, became a Flight Engineer in 1965, did a tour in Vietnam in 1966, did some Admiral staff duty and retired in December 1978 and came to Northern Virginia, the Woodbridge area ,about 25 miles south of Washington D.C., doing consultant work supporting the Department of Defense and The Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. I have always been interested in sports, photography, amateur radio (W4MGM), hunting, fishing, camping, and computers. Have a Good Day, Jim
