Life in Progress

The image captured above, like many before it was unplanned. I was just getting the chance to view Life In Progress. One of those chances in a million where all the pieces just happen to fall into place to allow a great shot. Now I really dont think it is a one a million shot for some...

I use the term allow because that is how I view photography. As an opportunity or an allowance of sorts. For a brief moment we are given the opportunity to see something in a way maybe no one else sees it or perhaps seeing it just at that special moment. We are allowed to step off the path of everyday and into the way of life as it goes on around us.

For some with the gift and for most who have had to work very hard at it...well we are the lucky ones. We are able to see those "opportunities" and allowances much more than the average person. We capture that and bring it forth like a new discovery-eager to share it with the world.

Here is to Life In Progress..you provide us with the exceptional, the unusual and the introspective where someone else sees the average, the boring and the mundane. Thank you and many thanks to the others, like myself who never get tired of putting forth the effort to share it with anyone interested in seeing through a different set of eyes.
